could adapt to different VFX shots quickly.
I had to create it making it possible to use the particles to "materialize" an object from air, but also to constrain the particles on a surface to morph an object into another one.
3 different particle systems were used to achieve the final effect.
This is a project I worked on a while ago. I used Zbrush to sculpt the strawberry trying to match the Fibonacci spiral. Real flow was used for the High Viscosity Liquid Simulation rising the simulation subframe step to avoid "exploding" particles. Rendered in Maya with Solidangle Arnold.
Recently I worked on a Toyota commercial where my task was to shatter and create the destruction effect for 3 iconic objects from the past. To create the destruction effects I used Thinkinetic Pulldownit! For the sand falling from the cracked objects, the emission rate was set to 3000000 particles per second.
